Co-Presidents Responsibilities
- Attend all PTO Meetings
- Delegate tasks
- Oversee fundraising and community events
- Ensure PTO bylaws are being followed
- Organize monthly meetings with board and school leadership
Treasurer Responsibilities
- Responsible for all financial record keeping
- Must be a signatory on all checks
- Report all financial updates at every PTO meeting
- Complete financial reports at start and end of school year
Recording Secretary Responsibilities
- Record minutes (take notes) at all meetings
- Shares meeting minutes with the PTO and school
- Ensure PTO files are organized and on file in the PTO google drive
Communications Officer Responsibilities
- Maintain membership database
- Create event flyers
- Prepares notices for distribution
Fundraising Chair Responsibilities
- Organizes PTO fundraising events
- Collaborates with the Events Chair
- Organizes the Recycled Uniforms Program
Events Chair Responsibilities
- Organizes fun PTO events
- Collaborates with the Fundraising Chair
- Works with Community Organizations
Volunteer Coordinator Responsibilities
- Recruit and organize volunteers for school and PTO events
- Communicate the needs of the school and individual teachers to the PTO
- Organize the “Class Parent” classroom ES volunteers
- Organize middle school volunteers
Middle School Rep Responsibilities
- Attend all PTO Meetings
- Meet & communicate with MS School Leaders Bi-Monthly
- Deliver an update on MS activities
The PTO Executive Board meets with School Leaders monthly to collaborate on school issues and plan events to support the students, teachers and whole community. The Board hosts the monthly membership meetings and meets as needed throughout the school year.
